2 peaches or nectarines
2 handfuls blueberries, blackberries and/or blackcurrants

Another exquisite summer luxury – choose your favourite combination.

2 peaches or nectarines
2 handfuls strawberries and raspberries

 

PinkBananaPink Banana (Smoothie)

This one is a summer favourite – best to use fresh organic strawberries.

2 bananas
8 medium strawberries
10 tablespoons (150 ml) apple juice

 

SummerMangoSpecialSummer Mango Special (Smoothie)

Just as those fantastic Indian mangoes are at the tail end of their season, the raspberries come in – catch this divine combination if you can, otherwise use any good mango.

2 mangoes
2 handfuls raspberries
juice of half a lemon
8 tablespoons (120 ml) apple juice

 

FreshSensationFresh Sensation (Quencher)

A combination of refreshing, tangy ingredients to cool you down on a summer’s day.

9 fl oz (300 ml) boiling water
1 small bunch fresh mint leaves
1 inch (2.5 cm) ginger root, grated
juice of 4 oranges
1 scoop lime sorbet
4–6 ice cubes

Pour the boiling water over the mint leaves and grated ginger and let them steep for five minutes. Leave to cool, then top up with freshly squeezed orange juice, lime sorbet and ice.
