The best years of a woman’s life
‘Scarcello bubbles with enthusiasm over her subject…’ LA Times
Most women dread the approach of their 50th birthdays, fearing it’s goodbye to good times (and good looks). Others barely notice the transition; they know how to welcome each age for its particular blessings. Drawing on her own experience, as a well as exhaustive research into other women’s stories – in a series of interviews conducted in five countries – Jake Scarcello shows with wisdom and wit how ‘Women of the Harvest’, who aren’t trying to turn back the clock, can reap the gifts still to come as life starts to divest itself of youth’s superficial anxieties.
Jaki Scarcello has spent 30 years listening to and supporting individuals and organizations as a leadership consultant, facilitator and coach working with Fortune 500 companies in Canada and the USA. She lives a nomadic life with two fixed bases – Toronto and Hermosa Beach, California. Between spells in either home she travels with her husband, a writer and spiritual teacher.
